Day 1 -Morning Wedding Lecture: Business & Photography 9am - 1pm: We will do a deep dive into how to approach your clients with confidence, as well as how to run a successful wedding photography business. Besides the fact that I am an educator, speaker and brand ambassador, I am currently an active wedding photographer. This is a key perspective because I understand the frustration that comes with running a business. If you are a seasoned wedding photographer or just starting out, the information that I will share with you will apply to all ranges of experience. I will cover tips and tricks that you can immediately apply towards the way you run your business.Besides learning the business aspect, I will dive deeply into the aspect of how to shoot wedding day details, the jewelry, and the getting ready portion. A real couple and MUA will be with us in the House, so we can begin with the of photographing your bride and groom as they get ready, simulating a real wedding.

2.30 to 4pm - Bride Getting Dress Details - Bride Portrait Alone- Groom Portrait Alone - 1st Look Indoor - 1st Look Outdoor 4.30pm to Sunset Artistic pictures using Natural Light and/or OCF - How to Create Dramatic images - How to Use modifiers - How to create a flawless natural pose - Incorporating props, like a Veil to your session.
The way I design the photo session is for you to learn how to use OCF, combined together with composition and posing. I will set up a scene and explain in detail our view prior to even picking up the camera. Then we will set up the OCF and pose the subject. Once we set up our scene, each attendee will have a chance at taking a set of images and discussing the thought process it took to achieve a successful image. We will NOT share the settings because I want you to learn by making errors, this process helps with teaching you the cause and effect of using OCF. By providing settings, this only creates a duplicated image, at that point you are not going through the trial and error of figuring it out yourself.We want you to move away from your comfort zone, push your limits, try something new, failing is the key to success. Day 2 Image review - Wedding & Business
10:00 am IMAGES REVIEW: The 1st day was very intense and packed with info to digest, so we will start off with a light breakfast and image review.Each attendee must bring 2 images from the previous day, and I will review it. We will discuss what your strength’s were in each image and what you can do to improve moving forward.
1.30pm Lunch break in the house with Q&A
2.30-3pm: Engagement session We will take our real couple(s) for a walk and simulate a real Engagement photo shoot. I will show you how I create my engagement sessions, it will be a real session for me, so I will talk and interact with them as if they were my clients.Creating simple posing, creating images that produce natural emotion and love.- Use of OCF and/or Natural light
4.30 to 7.30 Outdoor Photo Session:It will be much easier because you have more confidence in yourself and what you have already learned. If you are still struggling, I will be right there to assist in making the right decisions. You will be able to guide, pose and make use of OCF much better than the day before.
